Here's a few more. Tell me what ya think folks.

1. Guild colors and Insignia in the hall's banners and flags

2. Defend the castle where we can attack or defend our hall against an NPC army of Undead, White Mantle, Summit Dwarves, or other monsters.

3. Day and night battles

4. Random AI controlled monsters/mobs with no alliegence to either team, and would attack any who venture near. They could be either stationary, or on a random patrol patturn and add a new dimension to the battles.

5. Increase the team max amount of players to make it a true battle. Perhaps up to 25 V 25.
I love the idea of defending a castle against a horde of Mantle
Would fit in, idealogically too. Perhaps the Mantle carry out regular attacks on the Guild Hall islands to 1] try to conquer them and 2] get rid of the guilds' influence in Tyria.

1st: The Guild treasury... this will serve as the central location to all other upgrades to the guild.
.. the treasury will allow members to deposit gold into a guild account to allow for upgrades to be added to the guild.
.. purchases of other guild upgrades come from this account so it is easy for the guild leader to pool gold for purchases from the entire guild.
.. the listings of possible upgrades will be in the treasury window, and we can allocate funds to whichever one they are working toward.

2nd: The Guild Armory... This will be a guild storage bin, (proposed 20 slots) that anyone in the guild can add too and take from when needed. This will be used for leaving stuff for fellow guild members when they are not online. then they can check the Armory for stuff left for them.

3rd: Guild Storage agent (personal storage just like in towns)... this will allow guild members to come to the guild and do commerce instead of having to go outside the guild to get stuff when trading with guild members.

4th: Guild Crafter and Skill trainers... A special crafter or trainer for the guild just like in towns, again for guild commerce.
.. Skill trainers to base skills available by the level of the character talking to them, to prevent low level characters being able to buy Better spells then the area of the game they are in.

5th: Guild map and Quest board... This will allow parties to be formed AT THE GUILD and click on the Guild map to go to an area as a group without having to find each other again. This would not effect the personal maps when done this way. and the map would only represent the max map point of the leader of the guild.
The quest board is a new concept that has been refined a little... but it goes back to the original idea of being able to post quests for everyone to get and do together, without having to ask around who has what... Also allows for possibility of guild leader making custom quests for the guild...

6th: Guild Private Msg mail... This will be a little more then just the announcement section of the guild window. it would be a type of internal e-mail message system for each member in the guild. then you can leave something for them in the armory and msg them that it there when they log on. currently we are doing this outside of the Game system with other programs, but it would be nice to have that as an upgrade to purchase for the guild. (If the armory is not a posibility, then maybe we can send stuff to people through the msg system. which they would get when they go check their mail at the guild hall. like a package in the mail.)

7th: Guild Practice Arena... where we can go head to head for practice against each other in our own guild.

Each upgrade would be purchased from the treasury.. each one being a significant amount of gold to get for the guild. forcing the guild to pool together to purchase the ones they want. This will make the guild hall much more significant in the game, because it will become more then just a casual meeting place. then going somewhere else and having to find each other AGAIN...

Each concept above was mentioned during betas, but we have had some time to refine the concepts a little to make it more interesting to the game overall. I believe this will make the guild hall much more interesting to all aspect of the game. PvP, GvG, and PvE...

Each upgrade should cost in the same price ranges as the capes and island purchases ( Sigil ). so it would be something to work for together...

Ingram of Haz

Added two more by request.

8th: Ranger kennels for PvP pets. Being able to give charmed pets to the kennel at the guild to be used for PvP Rangers. Currently there is no way for a PvP ranger to get a different pet that I am aware of, unless they steal it from a PvE ranger that happens to go into a competition area with one, if that is even possible. I like the wolf and all but its not a good lev 20 pet at all... Not as fast and armor class sucks. Warthog and Dune Lizard and BEAR are all better pets... If we get them in PvE it would be nice to use em in PvP too.

9th: Ability to purchase special private events for your guild, like internal Guild games, (Capture the flag, Hide and seek, BBQ, ect...) Only participating guild members would be able to join it, not others outside your guild.

as you saw some of these have already been added. and other have been verified for Chapter 2.

For record When I said guild Armory thats a shared storage with the guild Take something leave something type of thing... With the leader placing initial inventory for guidies to pick from. and able to clean out junk on occasion. Basically an armory concept.

and Guild storage is just a Regular Storage agent in your guild hall. That's been missing since they added storage...

The custom quest thing is not likely I was told. but I have resorted to making them anyway with rewards in the guild for doing them with a SS of end task. and that seems to be a popular thing for fan sites to implement rather then in game. A few of them were submitted for review at arenanet and I spotted a variation of one in game during the Quest glitch.

So its nice to know that anet does actually review fan areas for some ideas from time to time...

all of em are great, but in reality, the bear is the worst possible choice. there is no real difference between the animals except their evolutionary stage. bears have the slowest attack of all...

so, the kennels for rangers...only if to swap out your pets so ya don't have to ditch yours all the time.

I like these two ideas best, cause they're similar to an idea i want. I want GVE areas where only a group/guild of a certain size (say 15 or 25) min can enter. don't make the area necessarily essential to get through(maybe provide a way around for solo players) but make it so tough that only a huge army of people could hope to take on the monsters inside. It would be like trying to fight through droknars but better...
